TIRANA, April 1 /ATA/- The Albania Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Bledi Çuçi said today in an interview that, according to the official data published by the General Directorate of Customs, in March 2020 alone, the exports of agricultural products grew 18% more than in March 2019.
“Despite Covid-19 situation, the agricultural sector has not been affected, thanks to the timely measures taken by the Albania government to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus. In March 2020 alone, exports increased by 18% compared to the same month of the previous year, Minister Çuçi stressed.
In his remarks, Minister Çuçi also emphasized that,” in the first three months of this year the agricultural sector has continued to observe best practice in all its activities, showing an increase compared with the same period last year.”//a.i/
