TIRANA, March 16/ATA/- The Municipality of Fier has taken drastic measures against the spread of coronavirus. These measures are not being taken to penalize citizens or businesses, but to protect them from the ever-spreading coronavirus, Fier Mayor Armando Subashi told the Albanian Telegraphic Agency (ATA).
“The Municipality of Fier took the preventive measures since the very first moment of coronavirus outbreak. In addition to closing all educational institutions, community centers; elderly residents self-isolation, suspending all cultural and sports activities, we have also taken a number of new measures. There has been a suspension of vehicle movement, in addition to the suspension of high seating capacity vehicles, such as vans or buses. Also all service businesses, such as bars, restaurants have been closed,” Subashi said.//a.i/
