PM Rama addresses citizens asking for patience while measures will step up

TIRANA, March 13/ATA/-Prime Minister Edi Rama expressed gratitude to the citizens for the good understanding and support for the measures taken by the government to curb the spread of coronavirus.

PM Rama pointed to the fact that the violations of the rules in Tirana and Durrës have been at the minimum.

The prime minister warned of a long struggle that will seem centuries long given that the people are not used to stay home, not to use the car or without going to the club. But, there is no other option.

Hence, patience is needed, said the prime minister.

The prime minister said that the number of the infected people can increase more than 33 because we cannot stop it, but only slow through restrictive measures.

PM Rama concluded by saying that no one can say how long it will last, but it’s not going to be a short or easy story./p.s./
