TIRANA, March 3/ATA/- In 2019, VAT refund marked the highest historical marked the highest historical level in the last 10 years, the Albania Ministry of Finance and Economy reported.
According to the official data published by the Ministry of Finance and Economy (MFE), in 2019, the VAT refund is estimated at about ALL 23.5 billion, an increase of 63% or ALL 9.1 billion more than in 2018, and ALL 4.5 billion more than the first forecast.
MFE reported that VAT refunded for 2009-2013 is ALL 30.4 billion, compared to ALL 54.5 billion for the period 2014-2019. //a.i/
