TIRANA, February 18 /ATA/-“What we have achieved at the Donors’ Conference, beyond a significant amount of money, is a very beautiful moment for Albania and its international image, but it is also confidence in addition to solidarity,” said Prime Minister Edi Rama today evening.
Being a guest to a television studio, PM Rama said that, “At the Donor Conference my most optimistic expectations were exceeded.”
He said that, “For two months, we have devoted special time and attention to awareness and contacts with the internationals”.
Likewise, the Prime Minister said that, “There is one more reason to believe that the plan we have devised to give new push to economic development now has a very secure basis because it gives us the opportunity to manoeuvre and to take another 2- 3 steps further with strong measures that will stimulate the economy and to ensure that what we have foreseen without the donors will be supplementary”.
Prime Minister Rama stressed that 100% is invested, everything, at all levels, in the preparation of the conference, both at the institutional level as prime minister with the heads of state but also at the personal level and through other links created over the years.
The prime minister emphasized that although it was not part of his upbringing, if it’s a question of Albania he was ready to do everything, to knock at the door of everybody and stretch the hand for help./p.s./
