TIRANA, Jan 29 /ATA/ – By A. Fortuzi/- Youngsters are an energizer for the Armed Forces. Back in 2019, roughly 560 young men and women have applied to join the Armed Forces.
Minister of Defense, Olta Xhaçka, in a posting on Wednesday says that on a year to year basis the number of young men and girls wishing to join the military family has been on increase.
“Young people are the energizer of the Armed Forces. Year after year the number of young men and women who want to join our military family has grown. The statistics provided by Staff Recruitment Center point up the growing interest, especially in the last two years, where young people from all over Albania see good opportunities for education or a career. We are the Albanian Armed Forces,” Xhaçka says.
Colonel Gaspër Lala, Commander of the Staff Recruitment Centre, says that in 2019 about 330 young men and women out of 560 persons were admitted with 82 of them young women.
“The Armed Forces Personnel Recruitment Center is constantly refreshing the Armed Forces with new staff . For 2019, around 560 persons applied to become members of the Armed Forces, of whom 330 were admitted after having passed the tests with 82 of them girls, ”he said.
“In the light of recent reforms in the Armed Forces, a young man finds a lot of room to gain a profession, a diploma, an overseas service, a study abroad, facilitating our work to absorb new contingents in the Armed Forces, ” – Colonel Gaspar Lala says.
The Staff Recruitment Centre is the first window to Armed Forces. Recruitment of youths is an energizer for AF.
