TIRANA, Jan 27 /ATA/- The World Bank has applauded implementation of the project for irrigation systems financed in cooperation with the Albanian government.

The recent report published by WB team says that project implementation has run better over the last three or four months. “Currently, the ministry, management team, municipalities, contractors and supervisors are showing commitment to implementation in order to make up for the previous delays as much as possible,” WB said.

According to the report, overall, the level of disbursement has shown significant improvement, however implementation needs to be accelerated in order for the pilot project for pressurized water in the Divjaka area to be completed by May 31, 2020.
