TIRANA, December 26/ATA/-Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj promised today that in 2020 Tirana will undertake a number of important projects ranging from projects such as the National Theater, the Pyramid, the Big Ring Road, the extension of Lana River, the Economic Zone in Kashar, etc.
Speaking at the Municipal Council meeting, Veliaj expressed his determination to implement and bring Tirana transformation projects to completion.
“I am determined, and I believe that we shall complete every project that transforms Tirana and makes it a better place for our children,” stated Veliaj.
The mayor emphasized that Tirana is getting ready to celebrate the 100th anniversary of its proclamation as the capital city, while assuring that everyone who impedes development will have the fate of “Astir” area.
“Today, I want to make it crystal clear that everyone who impedes development will have the fate of the “Astir” area. Tirana does not stop! The citizens want development, they want roads, they want the “Pyramid” building, they want the Theater building, they want the “New Boulevard” and the development there, and they want transformation in every neighborhood and every corner of the city. No one will dare stop the “clock” of Tirana “, said Veliaj.
The mayor announced that all intercity buses parking at the former “Customs” point will be relocated to Kamza where it is being laid the ground paving the way for construction of the new Terminal. Meanwhile, the construction work is going ahead on the Big Ring Road./k.s/j.p/p.s./
