TIRANA, December 23/ATA/- Prime Minister Edi Rama stated today that the post-earthquake reconstruction plan foresees that everything should be launched by the spring next year.
Speaking to reporters following the year-end meeting of the government cabinet held in Durrës, PM Rama emphasized that, “Within the first 6 months of the New Year a large number of those who are currently in individual housing should have been accommodated in a new house”.
PM Rama said that reconstruction occupied an important part of today’s meeting of the government.
“I believe we have a very solid plan to start the reconstruction process. Our goal is to have everything started by spring and within the first 6 months a large part of those who are living in individual dwellings today should have been settled into a new home,” said the head of government.
“Those who will move into the flats into the new neighborhoods to be built will continue to stay in the rental system until they are ready to move into the new homes,” said PM Rama./a.g/p.s./
