TIRANA, Dec 21 /ATA/ – All buildings that have been declared uninhabitable in acts of examination from the groups of engineers on the field or preliminary acts of assessment will undergo an in-depth examination.
This has been laid down in the Normative Act on mitigating the impact of devastating earthquake that hit our country on November 26 killing 51 persons, injuring 1 thousand people and causing considerable damage.
The act of examination gives a clear conclusion on structural condition, whether the object can be repaired or its structure has been damaged to the extent that dictates the demolition of the object.
The hardest hit regions by Nov 26 earthquake are Durrës, Tirana and Lezha.
