TIRANA, December 6 /ATA/ Plenipotentiary Minister for Coping with Earthquake Aftermath Bledi Çuçi stated today that about 7400 earthquake-stricken citizens have been accommodated in tents.
Çuçi said that within a few days there will be new tents in store to meet the demands.
He added that mainly in rural areas there is an increasing need for winter tents.
“Today there are 7400 citizens accommodated in tents and based on the citizens’ demand about 30% of the tents need to be replaced,” said Çuçi.
He also added that until now 29 buildings which were declared uninhabitable have been demolished. / /sara/
