TIRANA, Nov 29 /ATA/ – The U.S. government is continuing to support disaster relief efforts in Albania.
USAID – US Agency for International Development is partnering with the Albanian Red Cross to provide emergency supplies to people affected by the earthquake.
With USAID funding, the Red Cross is distributing critical relief items, such as blankets and hygiene kits, in hard-hit areas.
USAID’s Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster assistance also has a disaster expert on the ground in Albania to help assess damage and identify priority needs in the relief effort, the U.S. Embassy in Tirana said on Friday.
