TIRANA, November 21/ATA/- In October this year, Albania recorded a total of 118 road accidents down from 149 accidents that occurred during the same period of the previous year, the Albanian Institute of Statistics (INSTAT) reported.
According to the Albanian Institute of Statistics (INSTAT), during October 2019, pedestrian behaviour caused 83.1% of the road accidents.
During the first 10-month period of 2019, a total of 1 254 road accidents occurred, down from 1 452 road accidents in the same period 2018, or down by 13.6%.
According to INSTAT, in October 2019, a total of 143 people were injured in road accidents, down from 193 people in the same period of 2018, or down by 25.9%.
INSTAT reported that, in the first 10 months period of 2019, a total of 1 713 people were injured in road accidents, down from 1 958 people in the same period of 2018, or down by 12.5%.//a.i/
