Constitutional Court, PM Rama: Here’s another case of Meta being on wrong side

TIRANA, November 16/ATA/ “This is another case when we are on the right side of history, while unfortunately Ilir Meta is once again on the wrong side of history,” said today Prime Minister Edi Rama in his reaction to the latest debate over filling of the vacancies at the Constitutional Court.

In a statement to reporters after voting at the Socialist Party headquarters for the election of the delegates to the party Congress, Rama said that, “This is a recurring conflict caused by the same source of conflict for the same reasons that are known, but I do not think we need to get further involved in this conflict. ”

“I do not think that this conflict is resolved through battles of arguments and controversies in the field of communications. I do not want us to be involved in this conflict that must now belong to legitimate and legal processes,” said Rama.

He stressed that, “We did everything we could do on our part together with those who are supporters of the justice reform, our strategic partners, the USA and the EU.”

The prime minister also commented on President Meta’s statement on the dissolution of the Parliament, saying that “it reminds me of what I have told you earlier, the peasant leader Haxhi Qamili, saying that as long as I control this and that village, I do not care about France and England.”/j.p/p.s./
