TIRANA, November 16/ATA/- In tax administration payrolls, today there are 720 thousand employees as compared with 423 thousand in 2013.
The Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Economy and Finances Arben Ahmetaj made the statement during the debate in the Committee on the draft budget of 2020.
According to Ahmetaj, when this majority came to power there were 423 thousand employees, while today there are 720 thousand employees, so the number of employees has almost doubled.
Whereas Minister of Finances and Economy Anila Denaj highlighted a recent World Bank report showing that out of 62,000 new jobs in the region, 30,000 belonged to Albania alone.
Denaj added that the effect is not only in the context of numbers but also in value as the whole effort to reduce the taxes and improve household consumption is well known./a.gjonaj/p.s./
