TIRANA, November 14/ATA/- Pogradec–Tushemisht road is under reconstruction in context of programme “Regional connection roads” funded by the government of Albania and the World Bank and which is implemented by the Albanian Development Fund.
The project envisages rehabilitation of all infrastructure networks, retaining walls and works of art, as well as the upgrading of asphalt layers.
According to the Albanian Development Fund, the project envisages road improvements with additional elements such as bike lanes, pedestrian paths, lighting and green areas.
This is an investment of the Albanian government and the World Bank and implemented by the Albanian Development Fund in context of the “Regional and Local Connecting Roads” program.
Besides being helpful to Pogradec residents, this road is expected to boost tourism development.//a.i/
