TIRANA, Nov 7 /ATA/ – By I. Vata/ – Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Gent Cakaj on Thursday described an invitation sent to Kosovo Assembly Speaker Kadri Veseli for questioning by the Kosovo Specialist Prosecution in The Hague just a continuation of the systematic injustice towards the former Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA).
Cakaj stated that the KLA resistance has been historically just and really the only counteraction against Serbia’s genocidal attempts against Kosovo’s Albanian population.
“Serbia, in Kosovo conflict alone, is responsible for the murder of more than 12.000 Albanians, mass deportation of over one million people and millions of dollars in damages. These crimes have not been committed on individual basis, but they were directly sponsored by Serbia’s state apparatus. Serbia has totally failed in addressing its criminal past, whereas the then politicians and paramilitaries head the state of Serbia today,” Cakaj said.
