Italian undertakings are more and more oriented toward Albania

TIRANA, October 31/ATA/- The information and communication technology companies, mainly Italian ones, have been relocating their venture to Albania for years.

Albania’s Minister of Finances and Economy Anila Denaj gave the example of Innovaway, which she said is one of many Italian companies that have invested in Albania.

Established in 2015, it employs 80 persons and expects that by the end of the current year the number of the people employed will reach 100.

“We have come here being encouraged by the fiscal system which is much more favorable than in Italy. In 2015, we had only 25 employees. Serious companies should invest in Albania because the fiscal system is very good. To save money means to gain at the end of the year,” said Matilda Merxhani, CEO of the company.

This venture provides customized solutions with state-of-the-art technology used by more than 150 clients from both the private and public sectors.

The Albanian Investment Development Agency (AIDA) provides support to every foreign investor, including Innovaway.

“We have benefited from the ‘After care’ service and the most important service we have had has been the frequent meetings with some universities, both public and private, for the staff we need,” said Merxhani.

AIDA’s After Care service will continue to support every foreign investor in every step of growth./p.s./
