TIRANA, Oct 29 /ATA/ – The co-chairman of the Parliamentary Ad-hoc Committee on Electoral Reform, Damian Gjiknuri, met Tuesday with Robert Benjamin, Regional Director at National Democratic Institute (NDI).
Speaking about the meeting, Gjiknuri said that he and the NDI Regional Director discussed efforts to finalize electoral reform in Albania, improve law provisions on political parties and election campaign financing.
“In the meantime, we talked about need for a new legislation on the political party financing and the Institute’s technical assistance in this respect,” the Socialist lawmaker said.
