TIRANA, October 11/ATA/- In January-September of this year, at the quays of Durrës Port have been processed 15% more goods than in the same period of 2018, or 3.12 million tons of goods, the Durrës Port Authority reported.
In the 9-month period this year, Durrës Port has exported 903 thousand tons of goods or an increase of 4% compared to the same period the previous year. While, Imports have increased in volume by 20% .
According to the Durrës Port Authority official data, in the 9-month period 2019, the volume of processed goods was about 404 thousand tons more than in same period last year.
Durrës Port Authority reported that, in January-September 2019, nearly 680 thousand tons of goods have been processed, or 5% more than in the same period of 2018.
At the quays of the Durrës Port are expected to be processed 2.44 tons of goods in total transported by commercial vessels, or 18% more goods than a year ago.//a.i/
