TIRANA, Oct 3 /ATA/ – Parliament approved with 104 votes pro the draft resolution on support for opening of EU accession talks with the Republic of Albania.
The draft resolution became the subject of a lengthy discussion with PM Rama saying that Albania is much more prepared to open the EU accession talks than the other countries were before the start of talks.
The draft resolution proposed by MPs Senida Mesi and Rudina Hajdari demands overall commitment to push ahead with reform in public administration, fight against corruption and electoral reform which should be high on agenda of parliament.
