TIRANA, September 23/ATA/-All the medical service units have been on alert to face the created situation caused by the earthquake and the aftermath tremors.
Health Minister Ogerta Manastirliu inspected the situation at the National Center of Medical Emergencies where the influx of the persons who have asked for medical assistance has been successfully coped by the medical staff.
“The National Center of Medical Emergencies has successfully coped with 1560 emergency calls under the conditions of the extraordinary situation in the aftermath of the quake. Thanks to the new fleet of the ambulances, the Emergency Center managed to give medical assistance in time to 128 citizens in Tirana and Durrës”, said Minister Manastirliu. /a.sh/ /a.g/p.s./
