TIRANA, September 20/ATA/- According to the official data published by the Albanian Institute of Statistics (INSTAT) in the second quarter of 2019, hotel sales index increased by 7.0% compared to the same period a year earlier.
While, the index of the number of employees increased by 4.3% and the salary fund grew by 14.3%.
Indicators for services include economic activities such as, wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles; transport, storage and mail; hotels; bar and restaurants; information and communication; architectural and engineering activities and travel agencies.
In the second quarter of 2019, the Bar and Restaurant groups saw steady sales growth of 4.1% compared with the same period a year earlier. The index of the number of employees increased by 8.8% and the salary fund increased by 12.5%,” INSTAT reported. //a.i/
