TIRANA, September 4 /ATA/- The works on reconstruction of the 19.3 km Balldren-Bend road axis are underway.
The Albanian Development Fund said that the works have currently focused on the 15-kilometer, by the residential area of Torovica, and include asphalt, concrete walls and tiles.
About 10 thousand residents of the administrative units of Torovica, Balldre, Malecaj, Red Rock and Kolajaka will benefit directly from this investment.
After 20 years of degraded infrastructure which used to be dangerous for the pedestrians and vehicles, at present-day this government-funded project will be rather useful to the community.
This road axis will become an important hub for the vehicles and the local residents, as well as facilitate the farmers’ access to the market in the city of Lezha./a.a/p.s./
