TIRANA, Aug 31 /ATA/ – By I. Vata/ Minister for Relations with Parliament, also govt. spokesperson, Elisa Spiropali, stated on Saturday that the cleanup campaign all across Albania was necessary because the situation was scandalous in several municipalities.
Spiropali’s appeal is: “Keep Albania as clean as your home.”
“ The large-scale cleanup campaign all across the territory is necessary, especially in some municipalities of the country where the situation was appalling just because the mayors were heavily involved with the protests and in turn had no time to go about their mayoral tasks,” she said.
Spiropali goes on saying: This cleanup campaign was about awareness raising to keep the environment clean on a daily basis, rather than once a year!
