TIRANA, Aug 22 /ATA/ Rubbish heaps along the path to Akuarium Bay in Jalë was a major concern for citizens prompting one of them to address PM Edi Rama.
After referring his concern to Prime Minister Rama himself, local authorities have immediately reacted by cleaning up the area.
Prime Minister Rama published on Thursday a message from a citizen regarding the waste situation on this axis, as well as photos of post –cleanup situation.
“Hello Prime Minister. I know it’s not your job, but I thought you would be bothered by these views of trash that are rife all the way to the Akuarium Bay, Jal. Apparently, camps and hotels in the area have dumped the debris and waste there. Thanks for addressing the concern, ”the citizen writes.
The relevant institutions of local government have reacted right away launching a cleanup operation in the area.
