Waterfront promenade project in Saranda, work to start in September

TIRANA, Aug 18 /ATA/ – Work for construction of a waterfront promenade in the southern coastal town of Saranda are set to kick off in September, Prime Minister Edi Rama said, adding that the project will transform the town, known as the pearl of Albanian Riviera.

“Work for construction of another Lungomare to start in September in the town of Saranda, where a waterfront promenade similar to that in the city of Vlora is to be built,” Prime Minister Edi Rama said on Sunday.

The government head said that procedures have completed and works to construct the waterfront promenade project are set to start as of next month.

“The procedure just completed and work will kick off in September on Saranda’s waterfront promenade project. Just like the waterfront promenade transformed Vlora, this investment will transform tourist Saranda,” PM Rama wrote on social networks.
