TIRANA, August 7/ATA/- June 30 is the day of an historical lesson, stated today the Chairman of the Socialist Party parliamentary group, Taulant Balla.
Speaking during an interview on television, Balla emphasized that “The respect of the people’s decision through the election process is a must.”
“June 30 was also confirmed by the OSCE-ODHIR mission, through a preliminary report, which read that these elections were free and democratic,” said Balla.
Speaking about the constitution of municipal councils and the swearing in of new mayors, Balla pointed to the Democratic Party leader Lulzim Basha in opposition who had ordered Kamza mayor Xhelal Mziu not to vacate his office and refuse to hand it over to his Socialist Party successor Rakip Suli.
