TIRANA, Aug 5 /ATA/ – Situated in the North-East of the country, Dibra is famed for natural beauty and cultural values that are increasingly explored by local and foreign tourists alike.
This summer which has seen an increasing influx of tourists, installation of tourist signage in attractive spots of Dibra is well underway.
It numbers 5 main trails, two tourist villages that are improving the tourist signage infrastructure with markings, information points, observation points, taps and leaflets containing local maps.
The trails where signposts have been placed are Kreciste-Hinoske, Sherimi Valley, Kastriot-Grama, Radomire-Korab and Sete-Lura lakes.
Tourist signage is available in both Albanian and English languages which allow foreign and local visitors to get more information about the tourist potentials of the area and get acquainted with their history.
This investment is funded by Dibra Tourism and Tradition D2T project supported by USAID / Albania, the Swedish Embassy, the Dibra Region Council and implemented by ALCDF in partnership with the Municipality of Diber.
