TIRANA, July 31 /ATA/- The Agency for Agricultural and Rural Development (AARD) is holding meetings with parties of interest in the light of World Bank and Swedish Government funded Grants for Forest Development and Protection, aimed at revitalizing forests in our country.
Today they are holding a meeting with forest associations of Dibra and Kukës which has aroused plenty of interest due to the mountain terrain, an important indicator in pursuit to the measure.
The main objective of the project is to restore, preserve and improve mountain ecosystems, improve agriculture, forestry, support the expansion and improvement of forest resources, and prevent forest fires.
The experts of the AARD and Environmental Services project inform potential beneficiaries about the paperwork and procedures for implementing this scheme.
