TIRANA, July 25 /ATA/ – Prime Minister Edi Rama on Thursday vowed to press ahead with efforts to crack down on the informal economy, saying an ongoing country-wide anti-informal action will continue until end of his cabinet’s term in office.
He said that the anti-informal economy actions will continue as it is not merely a campaign, but a daily battle against informality that will go on until end of the government’s term in office.
“Stop informality. Initial encouraging signals of putting businesses back on the rails of law are already underway, but attacks on informality will not cease, because this is not a campaign, but a daily battle that will go on until end of term in office,” Rama stated.
The government head published photos showing the anti-informal action, stating the government will pursue a zero-tolerance policy against abusers.
