Albania, Israel to exchange experience on Diaspora

TIRANA, July 11 /ATA/ – The Minister of State for the Diaspora Pandeli Majko met Thursday an American Jewish Committee (AJC) delegation to discuss ways of cooperation and exchanging experience between the two countries.

During the meeting, Minister Majko familiarized the AJC delegation with the complete legal framework in the Albanian Diaspora and the most frequent topics encountered among the Albanian communities around the world.

On his part, the AJC Executive Director David Harris noted that it is important for the two parties to exchange their best experience on the Diaspora, as the Israeli Diaspora is one of the largest in the world and it can offer a number of valuable models that can be applied in Albania.
