TIRANA, July 10 /ATA/ The Ministry of Justice released Monday a three-month monitoring report as part of implementation of 2018-2020 action plan under the Cross-Sectorial Anticorruption Strategy.
Over the past three months, the Office of the Commissioner, in collaboration with the Transparency and Anticorruption Department, has observed transparency of the Ministries. The Transparency and Anti-Corruption Unit has conducted inspection actions in each ministry and has made available the recommendations made by the Office of the Commissioner.
During the January-March 2019 period, ordinary citizens have reported to the State Police 78 alleged corruption practices and investigation procedures have been carried out in these cases that have been already forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office.
