TIRANA, July 9 /ATA/ – The excellent traditional Albania -Turkey relations have a promising future.
President of the Republic Ilir Meta met the President of Turkey on the sidelines of the South-East European Cooperation Process, SEECP summit in Sarajevo on Tuesday.
“It was pleasure to meet the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan today in Sarajevo. Our excellent traditional relationships have a very promising future,” Meta said following meeting with the Turkish President.
He expressed “gratitude for the extraordinary burden Turkey holds to protect the Balkans and Europe from illegal immigration.”
President Meta took part in the SEECP summit in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
