TIRANA, July 8 /ATA/- Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Behgjet Pacolli said on Sunday he would not attend the summit of the South-East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) to be held in Sarajevo, Bosnia, and Herzegovina.
Pacolli said that it is an unshakable position of the institutions of Kosovo not to participate at the regional important event under the existing conditions.
“The manner in which Kosovo’s state delegation was thought to be treated is unacceptable. Furthermore, it shadows the just finished summit of Poznan as part of the Berlin Process, and joint statements and pledges for sincere and constructive engagements,” Pacolli said.
“We will contribute to constructive regional cooperation always as we Chair currently Western Balkans Funs, RYCO Western Balkans and will take over CiO of South-East European Cooperation Process, SEECP. This behavior by Bosnia and Herzegovina goes against this spirit. SEECP is about strengthening regional cooperation, not harming it and creating obstacles to neighbors,” Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Behgjet Pacolli stated.
“Regional cooperation can be achieved when its constructive, equal and fair and does not have the aim to be abused for domestic issues. Kosovo remains committed to engage constructively with all parties,” Pacolli added.//a.i/
