TIRANA, June 30/ATA/-The former Speaker of the Parliament Jozefina Topalli stated today that after about 3 decades, the Democratic Party has lost all kinds of power and pointed to the Chairman of the DP Lulzim Basha as the person that should be held accountable for this.
She mentioned that DP is not in the Parliament because Basha ordered its lawmakers to relinquish the mandates. And the DP does not control any municipality because Basha decided not to enter into the municipal elections held today.
“Thus the DP has lost every political and local power while Prime Minister Edi Rama has taken everything under control. “The last democrats employed in the municipalities that used to be managed by the right-wing supporters will be in Edi Rama’s mercy”, said she.
However, Topalli said that the time has come to restore the DP./m.m/p.s./
