TIRANA, July 1/ATA/- The candidate of the Socialist Party, Rexhë Byberi won the elections for Mayor of Tropoja, receiving 3538 votes against the candidate of the “Democratic Conviction” party, Edison Hasanaj.
According to the results of the Central Election Commission, Rexhë Byberi received 95.24% of the vote in 49 ballot boxes. While, the “Democratic Conviction” party candidate, Edison Hasanaj received only 4.76%, or 177 votes.
The “Democratic Conviction” is the newly formed party founded by Azem Hajdari’s daughter, Rudina Hajdari, who is also a member of the Albanian Parliament.//a.i/
