TIRANA, June 30 /ATA/ – Voting for the local elections in all polling stations across Albania ended at 19:00 on Sunday in a process largely calm and peaceful.
Just like in any previous elections, a small number of polling stations remain open if people are still waiting to cast their ballots.
Submission of the election materials to the Commissions of Electoral Administration Zones (CEAZ) is expected to start soon.
People cast their ballots in some 5417 polling stations across the country and the process was monitored by over 1500 observers. No serious incidents have been reported.
