SOFT NEWS/ Newlyweds cast vote on wedding day

TIRANA, June 30 /ATA/ – Although celebrating the most beautiful day in their life, a newly married couple arrived at a polling station on Sunday, straight from their wedding in the town of Gramsh, central Albania, to cast their vote for the local elections in the country.

The bride on white wedding dress and the groom wearing a suit cast their vote for the mayoral candidate in the municipality of Gramsh.

The story was published by the chairman of the Socialist Party parliamentary group Taulant Balla, who posted the picture showing the newlyweds while voting for the mayoral elections.

“Photo of the Day: a newly married couple came straight from the weeding to head to the polling center,” Balla wrote on social networks.

After the vote, the newlyweds returned back home to go on with the wedding party.

Newly married couples have showed up at the voting centres to cast their ballot also in the previous elections in Albania.
