TIRANA, June 28 /ATA/ – In a reference to the intercepted phone conversations recently published by German tabloid Bild, Prime Minister Edi Rama said at a campaign meeting in Vlora, southern Albania, on Friday, “the opposition is now watching on TV screen the real earthquake mentioned by Damian Gjiknuri.”
“I would like to say two words about Vlora. We have done a lot over the past four years. I want to assure you that, just like I hadn’t seen never before, just like you have seen nothing yet what we will do in the next four years,” Rama said addressing a cheering crowd in the coastal city.
“The published the eavesdropped phone conversations. They published them in Germany, the heart of Europe, our main partner on the path towards integration. Damian was intercepted in those conversations too, saying we want to rock Diber. They are now watching the real earthquake on TV screens here in Vlora,” Rama said.
“The tapes were recorded in 2016 but they were kept in a safe as a time bomb in order to blow up Albania. The tapes should have been investigated, but they weren’t. Instead they were kept as a time bomb in order for the four carnivals of the politics to release and set Albania on fire, thinking they can fool the Albanian people,” Rama said.
