TIRANA, June 19/ATA/- Albania has experienced a significant increase in the number of visiting tourists over the past 2-3 years but in order for them to fully enjoy their experience and come back they deserve to have the standards that tourism requires such as public health and environmental standards, as well as good infrastructure as essential for the quality of tourist offer.
Thus, in the light of the Albanian government’s public investment program consisting of investments in the rural roads and rural water supply systems, the roads in the areas of Shkëmbi i Kavajës and Golem have undergone reconstruction.
The project on the road rehabilitation in the areas of Shkëmbi i Kavajës and Golem aimed at improving road safety and providing recreational spaces for the residents.
The reconstruction works on the internal road system in the area of Shkëmbi i Kavajës have already been completed, meanwhile works on rehabilitation of Durrës stream are going ahead at a fast pace, which until now presented a threat to the health of the inhabitants, due to pollution and lack of disinsection procedures.//a.i./
