TIRANA, June 18 /ATA/ The latest Progress Report of the European Commission for our country has also highlighted the computerization of public services and increase of online access.
E-Albania portal in 2013 offered 14 online services, while today the number has increased to 596 ones.
E-Albania is also used by our fellow countrymen abroad accessing 38 online consular services.
As of September 2017 Albanian citizens were relieved of bureaucracy requiring certificate for each service and in just 18 months, over 2.7 million certificates were printed through e-Albania saving the citizens ALL 135 million.
It is less costly and time saving. The attestation for social insurance contribution required 106 hours, whereas now this service takes 1 minute. /m.m/j.p/sm/
