TIRANA, June 12 /ATA/- Shkodra police have uncovered a group involved in bogus VAT scheme to obtain Value Added Tax returns.
According to police announcement, under the direction of the Prosecution of Shkodra Judicial District and the Criminal Police Department in cooperation with the structures of Regional Directorate of Shkodra Police, Regional Directorate of Tirana Police and Shkodra Tax Investigation, pursuant to the arrest warrants issued, the authorities arrested the citizen KM, 39, resident in Tirana (owner of a flour trade firm) and declared wanted Greek citizen D. Th., 46, who sold the signature to citizen K.M.
The authorities have suspended notary Gj. K., 36, from exercising his public functions and handed out court appearance to citizen A. B., 52, both of them involved in the fraud scheme created by the above-mentioned citizens.
