TIRANA, June 3 /ATA/-Deputy Minister of Interior Julian Hodaj reacted to Sunday’s opposition protest accusing the Democratic Party leader Lulzim Basha as the instigator of violence during the demonstration.
Hodaj also mentioned the case of quarrels among the protesters hitting one another arguing that it was a clear strategy of the opposition aiming to provoke clashes.
The deputy minister also provided several examples in the past of the DP leader being related with violence during protest.
“It is the responsibility of the protest leaders to guarantee that the protest is peaceful otherwise they will be held accountable before the law.
He emphasized that the State Police didn’t clash with the citizens except for ensuring a peaceful demonstration.
