TIRANA, May 27 /ATA/ – Zero tolerance in fight against narcotics cultivation was the highlight of the meeting held in Tepelena by the local taskforce on fight against trafficking and cultivation of cannabis.
In attendance of the meeting were also Deputy Minister of Interior, also the head of Central Task Force on fight against cannabis trafficking and cultivation, Rovena Voda, Deputy Director of State Police, Aida Haina, mayor of Tepelena, Tërmet Peçi, local director of police Perlat Vatoci as well as other members of local task force.
This meeting was held in the light of capacity building as part of intensification of joint efforts of state structures in fight against cultivation of narcotics.
Deputy Interior Minister Voda urged the relevant structures to draft the action plans on the field control with predefined dates under the supervision of the prefect and zero tolerance in the fight against cultivation of narcotics.
In his remarks, the Prefect Aliaj highlighted the achievements and work done by responsible institutions in the fight against plantation, cultivation and trafficking of cannabis.
