TIRANA, May 10/ATA/-The Chairman of the Democratic Party (DP) Lulzim Basha held a meeting on Friday with 300 European students of the EDS, European Democratic Students, the official student organization of the European People’s Party.
“Our battle enters in its 12 week”, said Basha adding that, “This battle determines the country’s destiny over the next 10-15 years”.
The DP leader took the opportunity of extending a call to all the Albanians to join Saturday’s protest.
Basha said that, “This is a national and European battle for democracy and free and fair elections”.
He pointed to the fact that the country has no Constitutional Court since two years ago. The Supreme Court is not functional with 40 thousand files stored, but still not resolved.
Basha also referred to cooperation with the EPP. “DP is proud of the cooperation it has built with every other political force”./p.s./
