TIRANA, May 8 /ATA/ On the second day of her visit to Paris, minister of Justice Etilda Gjonaj held a meeting at the French senate with the chairman of the Friendship Group France – Albania, Rachel Mazuir, and three Senate members.
During the meeting participants put the emphasis on importance of justice reform, concrete results of vetting process, establishment of HPC and HJC, as well as results of fight against corruption in the public administration.
Mazuir praised the role of minister Gjonaj as very important in the framework of justice reform highlighting the will, commitment and responsibility to bring about the change and fight corruption in the country.
Mazuir went on saying that Europe is a source of energy for Albania quoting PM Rama as saying during his meeting in Tirana. “ Europe holds the key to further integration of the country and building the rule of law,” he said.
