TIRANA, May 7/ATA/-The bilingual road signs in the Greek minority areas will begin to get erected from today and the work will be completed up to Friday.
The Albanian Road Authority will erect them up to all the technical standards.
Prime Minister Edi Rama gave the news during presentation of the platform “My Embassy”.
According to the prime minister, the truth is simple.
“The road signs were not removed because of something related with the Greek minority, but they were beyond the technical criteria and road safety standards. On Tuesday, the road signs will begin to get erected again and the work will finish by Friday when the Albanian Road Authority will have erected them all meeting all the standards”, said PM Rama.
Speaking about the maritime border delimitation talks between Albania and Greece, the prime minister pointed to charges of betrayal for both governments.
“This implies the process is going on the right track because there is no chance of the two sides betraying their own countries, but they are looking for the proper solutions”, said PM Rama./j.p/p.s./
