TIRANA, May 3 /ATA/ – By Maela Marini/ “VAT reduction to 6% for 5-star hotels has been definitely confirmed as a success story,” PM Edi Rama stated from Lezha.
In an event organized in Ishull Lezhë, PM focused on incentives that govt. in place has introduced to boost construction of 5 – star hotels in the country.
However, Rama said no way will we tolerate informality because as part of fight against informality we have reduced VAT to 6%.
“If yesterday it was impossible to imagine Albania of 5 star hotels, today the first 5 star hotels are in the pipeline. It is not one but a few contracts that have been finalized to lay the groundwork for transformations around the country. Meanwhile a number of requests wait to be treated,” Rama said. /r.e/sm/
