Turkey, strategic partner of Albania

TIRANA, April 26/ATA/-“Turkey is a strategic partner of Albania”, said Minister of State for Protection of Entrepreneurship Eduart Shalsi at the meeting of the General Assembly of Albanian and Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry which was held today in Tirana.

“Turkey is a strategic partner of Albania and I take the opportunity of expressing grateful thanks and inviting you of becoming part of the Albanian business. The justice reform is one of the pillars that will be very helpful along with other things related with the business climate in Albania”, said Shalsi.

On his part, the ambassador of Turkey to our country Murat Ahmet Yörük said that the growing cooperation between the two countries is confirmed by the official data, too.

“While taking into account even the recent initiatives of the Turkish companies in strategic fields like air transport, education and health, the value of the Turkish investments in Albania amounts to 3 billion USD.  During the recent years, it is noticed a rapid development of the trade relations between the two countries. Last year, trade increased by 10%, i.e. Turkey is the second partner of Albania about imports”, said Murat Ahmet Yörük.

The trade cooperation between Albania and Turkey has a growing trend while during 2018 the Turkish entrepreneurship expressed a greater interest in entering the Albanian market./e.xh/j.p/p.s./
